Majd Almasri is an international student from Palestine and a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is majoring in Neuroscience and Visual Studies with a concentration in the Science of Seeing. She is deeply interested in the human brain and in understanding the biological mechanisms underlying neurological function and disease. At Penn, Majd is a Penn World Scholar and a Gutman Library Fellow. Outside the lab, she enjoys playing the oud, reading, bowling, and spending time in nature.
